On Top of Notre Dame: Paris through Gargoyles’ Eyes

When visitors come, it gives me an excuse to be a tourist in my own city. As my time living in Paris is dwindling down ,  it seems my list of things to do, see, and eat continues to grow. A little over 2 weeks seems like an impossible amount of time to do everything I want to. However this last week when my best friend from college came to visit, I was able to cross out some things on the list.

I feel dumb when I do things like this. I have just a couple weeks left and I find something that I wish I would have taken advantage of more. Like the view from the top of Notre Dame. I wish I went up there every season. It is phenomenal.

Although the view was still gorgeous, I thought I was going to freeze on top of that tower. The gloomy, gray weather did provide for quite the appropriate backdrop of the brooding gargoyles overlooking the city below. Needless to say, I had to snap about a million pictures. So instead of blabbering on how awesome the view is, take a look for yourself…
